Chapter 4

“A guy who wants you dead? Who?” Molly asked. I just shaked my head and I think I know who am I going to ask. “Uh, Molly, can you help me to call Rose in? I would like to talk to her.” Molly just smiled and nodded, “Sure.”

“What happened?” I asked Jin while Jeanne pour a cup of water for me. I thanked her and take a sip. My chest hurt again and I coughed. Jin walked towards me and patted my back and Ace looked at me with eyes full of worry. I coughed one more time and telepathy Jin, I’m fine. Jeanne looked at me and said, “I’m so sorry.”

“It’s fine. I’m not dead.” I smiled and coughed.

“You want to know what happened? We are the one who should asked you that question.” Jin narrowed his eyes and glared at me. What? I narrowed my eyes at him too. Tell us what the heck happened up there. Jin looked at the twins and Jeanne. I don’t know. I looked away and patted on Ace. He whined again.

“Please, you two. Don’t use telepathy! I can’t hear a single thing what you guys are talking about.” Jeanne glared at us. I smiled. “I think you sure mean we.” The twins glared at Jeanne. Jeanne rolled her eyes. “Ok, fine. Whatever. Now, tell us.” Jeanne sit at the edge of my bed.

“I’m just asking her to tell us. And she said she don’t know.” Jin said, looking at the door. He sensed that someone’s coming. Then the door opened. The figure that is standing in front of me is the person that I wished to see, Rose. I smiled.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we need to give them some privacy.” One of the workers that stand beside Rose said. They nodded and leave except Ace. “Include this.” The worker pointed at Ace. “He is not a this. He is my partner and he stays.” Rose nodded and waved her hand. The worker closed the door and Rose turned her attention to me.

“Are you ok dear?” She touched my cheek with her rough hand. I shaked my head as no and went straight to the point. “You know, Rose.. I met your husband, Ottiy.” I saw Rose expression totally went hard, unbelievable and shocked. “A-And..?” I take the envelope out from my pocket and passed it to her. “He asked me to pass this to you. He said, he loves you from the bottom of his heart.” Rose tear up the envelope and started reading. Her eyes went teary and tear’s dripping onto the envelope.    

“Violet, thank you…” She hugged me and I put my arms around her. Suddenly I remember something more important. I pushed her away and wiped away her tears. “Rose, did anyone died in that mansion before? Other than your husband?” Rose seemed shocked again but she tried to think.

“I-I think no.. Why?” Rose looked at me. “I saw a guy who tried to kill me. But I can’t see his face.” I heard Rose gasped. She touched my hand and touching around her pocket for her phone. “Where is he? What is he doing?” She take out her phone and typing something. I looked at her..

“He’s not solid. He’s standing in the air.” Ace growled.

“What.. did you say?” Rose expression harden more. She can’t believe everything that I said. But my brain is still functioning. I’m not stupid and my brain is not crazy.

“So, you think he’s.. dead?” Rose asked.

“He’s either a hologram or dead.” Everything that I felt is calm. I don’t feel anything other than wanting to know who is trying to kill me. Rose stood up and walked towards the door.

“Please stay safe. I have things to do now.” Then the door closed. Rose quickly run away from the room. Jin and the rest came in. Ace barked a little.

“Ace.” I looked at Ace. Why did he barked? He growled a little at Jin and the rest then I remembered. I haven’t introduced them to Ace yet. I patted him and asked him to sit in front of me up on my bed. He hesitated but he still climbed up my bed and sit beside me.

“Good. Now look at them, remember their faces and later, their animal.” Ace narrowed his eyes at me and growled. They’re my friends. I don’t know did telepathy works on animal but I still got to try. And the result, it works. He growled again and looked at them.

“Guys, try introducing yourself.” I smiled at them. “Eh? Why?” Jeanne higher her eye brown and stared at Ace. “You doesn’t want to be attack by my partner right?” I patted at Ace and laughed. Jeanne squeaked and said, “Ok ok, I’m Jeanne. And my pet… is a snake. So, don’t try to eat him!”

“Ace won’t eat snake, right?” Ace just stared at me and I just turned back to them. After all of them introduced themselves to Ace, Ace seems to relax a little.

“Violet? I guess we need to talk a little.” A guy about forty and above came in with a note book and a few picture in his hand. Jin stepped forward like he is going to him from talking to me. Jin, stop. Jin stopped instantly. He looked at Molly, Jin and the others.

“Guys, we have to give them some privacy again.” Molly laughed and leaded them out. I nodded and watch them leave. “Ms. Violet. Nice to meet you. I’m one of the workers from SPC office. I’m Raymond Gardne. Can you tell me one more time what you’ve just told Rose?” He opened his note book and hold a pen out. I sighed and explained once more. After he explained, he held out a few pictures and asked me to recognized them.

“Do you know any of them? Please look closely, all of them are once under SPC’s protection.” I look through those picture, I don’t understand. They all look so young and I’ve never seen them before. I can’t help myself and asked, “What happened to them?”

He turned away, “Some of them are kidnapped. They’re not found yet. And some of them are killed.” I widen my eyes. Killed and kidnapped? “You’re seriously kidding me. Why?” I put down the picture and asked. He just stared at me. “What?”

“You know Ms. Violet, you are the first person to ask this question and you are the first person who cause this incident. And you are the first person we are going to take care of and you are the first person who need to know a lot about SPC.” Raymond glared at me and Ace barked. I patted Ace and Raymond spoke again. “Who the hell are you?”

I looked down, “I don’t know who I am too, Mr. Raymond. That’s what I’m trying to find out at SPC.” Raymond dialed his phone and put it in his pocket back. “I’m sorry Ms. Violet. I think we need to bring you back to SPC and do a brain check-up.”

“What? Brain check-up?” What the hell is SPC? This is a lot more than I heard about SPC!

“By checking your memory, we will know what you are and who’s after you.” When Raymond stepped closer and grabbed me, Ace barked non-stop. “Ace!” Ace tried to rush and bite Raymond but Raymond held out a gun from his pocket. Ace howled and I hugged Ace with my ached body. “No!”

Molly and the others banged into the room and gasped. “What are you doing to Violet?” Jin shouted and ran towards Raymond. Jin grabbed Raymond’s hand and Raymond fired a shot. The rest of the SPC workers include Rose rushed in and held Raymond.

“What did I do? I’ve done nothing! Is this damn wolf fault!” Raymond shouted and pointed at Ace. Is he crazy? It’s normal for an animal to protect its master. I narrowed my eyes with madness. I stepped down the bed and rushed towards him. I jumped and kicked his face. Jin and Molly held me.

“What did you do? Ask yourself. You pointed a gun at Ace when Ace tried to protect me from you! You didn’t even asked my permission whether I’m following you to SPC or not and you just grabbed me!” I stand still, trying to endure the pain. Ace growled and walked beside me. Raymond stayed quiet and they released him.

“I’m sorry for grabbing you without your permission ok? And pointing at a gun at your pet.” Raymond bowed a bit and Rose came in, observing the situation. “Excuse me?” A pet huh. Raymond seems annoyed and said it one more time, “ I’m sorry for pointing at your dear Ace ! Satisfied?” Raymond opened his arm wide enough for Ace to attack him but I managed to stop Ace.

“Sounds like you are not satisfied for apologized.” Jin whispered. He is not. I said and laughed. “You ok?” Molly and Jeanne walked beside me and sighed. I smiled, “I’m fine.” Still enduring the pain.

Chapter 3

We went back after choosing our somehow pet, but I like calling it partner. I named my wolf Ace and Jin named his lion Leon. Right after we got back home, Jeanne scared to death when she saw a lion but Leon is a very loyal partner for Jin. Jin told me that when the others attacked him, only Leon came out and helped Jin. After all those fight, Leon choose Jin and that’s when they’re on the way looking for me.

“Your Leon sure is built huh?” Jack patted Leon. Leon just closed his eyes and let him patted him. It sure looks like Leon is not that fierce.. Jin’s lion is real built with muscles from head to toe and this is sure a big one. But Ace is just half of this lion size. All of them laughed around Jin and only left me and Ace behind. Ace rubbed my leg and whined.

“It’s ok. Let’s go in ok?” I walked in the house as Ace followed me. I saw Rose’s inside putting down her backpack. “Hi, Violet.” Rose smiled as she patted on Ace. “Hi..” I forgot that I just can’t called her Rose. She looks older than any of us. She chuckled, “You can just call me Rose. I may look old like a grandma but I’m just 43.”

“You are? But you look.. Oh, I’m sorry.” I blushed.

“It’s ok dear. May I asked you a question?”

“Yes?”

“Why aren’t you out there with them?” Rose looked at me. I just stand there still, hands on the sofa, eye’s on Rose. I smiled, ‘I don’t know.” Then I walked up the stairs and stopped.

“Uh, Rose?”

“Yes, Violet?”

“Why is there so many rooms and we have to cramp in one room? I think I’m bothering them..”

“Oh that, it’s important for your safety. But if you want your own private room, I can handle that. You can choose one but not too far.” Rose smiled at me. I nodded.

“Yes please and thanks. I need my own privacy. I’m afraid that I’ll hurt them if I’m too emotional. Then I’ll up first. Thanks again, Rose.” Rose give me one last smiled and nodded. I went up and carried my things out. Suddenly, my body chilled and Ace stopped.

“What’s wrong Ace?” I turned and looked at Ace. Ace growled and barked. It’s soft but clear. “What is it Ace?” Ace rushed in front of me and barked again.

I turned. “Your this little Ace guy sure is alarmed right?” A guy’s standing in front of me. He’s wearing a coat with a hat and a pair of boots. I can’t see his face but I saw his wicked smile. I began to frighten when he walked towards me.

He’s not solid.

He’s transparent.

He’s a spirit.

I’ve seen a lot of them but recently I didn’t see any of them until now, in this mansion. I cleared my throat and stayed calm, “Who are you? What do you want?” Ace jumped beside me and growled again. I patted him and whispered, “It’s ok Ace.”

“I’m Ottiy D Ilute, Rose dead husband. You will not know me because I’m dead. But don’t worry, I will not harm you. It’s just I want you to help me to pass something to Rose.” He handed out an envelope and put it down on the carpet.

“You are Rose’s husband?” I can’t  believe it. Even he is, why is he here and why is he dead?

“Yes I am. I’m killed on an accident 6 years ago. An accident that I’ll never forget. I’m actually the previous guard working here protecting these children with Rose. But something attacked us and I’m killed in that accident. I’m still protecting them until now. I always tried to contact them but no one can see me and heard me. Until you came, I found hope.” He smiled and took off his hat. I gasped.

His head has a hole. He’s killed with his brain being eaten. I closed my mouth with my hand. I felt sick and vomiting. I tried to find Ace but he’s isn’t here. Where did he go? But that does matter now when I’m facing a dead person, especially Rose dead husband Ottiy.

“Violet?” A voice shouted from downstairs.

“It’s time for me to go. Please take this envelope and go away too Violet. This floor is not going to hold any longer. They’re here for you.. And tell Rose, I love her from the bottom of my heart.” His voice are fading away then he disappeared. What does he mean by this floor is not going to hold any longer? What does he mean by they’re here for me? Who are they?

I heard Ace’s barking from downstairs and shouting. I stand up and heard cracking. My heart stopped beating and I stopped breathing. Does he mean this floor is gong down? That can’t be happening. This is just the third floor. I tried to calm down and walked faster. But every time I take one step, I heard a crack sound.

Someone please help me.

I heard Ace’s bark getting closer and closer. He’s standing at the stairs. I felt a bit relieved and I said, “Stop there Ace. Don’t move.” I walked a step closer again and the cracking start. The floor started to collapse from behind and getting closer to me. Ace rushed beside me and pushed my leg to get moving. I asked Ace to run first and he did.

“You’re not going anywhere girl.” A guy in front me said. I widen my eyes and whispered, “What?” He looked solid but not very.

The floor started to collapse in front of me. Now I have no choice but to stand. If I turn back, I’m dead. So as in front. I’m separated with Ace. He’s barking in front of me and I fell down straight towards the cracking floor. I heard everything collapse and I felt pain in front of my chest.

“Violet!! No!” That ‘s the last sentence I heard and my vision went blur, my mind went blank and I felt dizziness. Their voice are buzzing inside my ears and I went unconscious after that.

My eyes felt heavy when I tried to push them up. I tried a few more times and I gave up. I heard voices and whining. I know that whining. Only he whines. Ace.

“That’s impossible. The SPC had checked and they said that something’s not right.” A rough voice said. I heard this voice somewhere.

“It is something’s not right. We’ve lived there for years! We’ve never had this kind of problem until she came here. She’s in danger.” That kind voice, I know. Molly.

“That’s right. The first time I saw here too, I felt something different about her. I can’t read her.” Jeanne?

“You can’t? I thought you can read their past?” A guy’s voice said but it’s a bit different fro the first one I heard. The twins?

“Yes I can’t. But she’s different. I can’t read hers.” Jeanne said. Jeanne read past? Damn it.

“You know guys…you’re noisy and Jeanne, don’t read my past without my permission..” I said even though I felt weak. My voice are soft and really in pain.

“Violet.” An arm wrapped around me. Cold with a bit temperature, Jin. Ace licked my hand and I smiled.

“Don’t worry Ace, I’m not dead.” I patted him with my hand. Jin helped me up but my chest hurts like hell. After I clear my vision, I know I’m in a hospital.

“Oh my gosh Violet! You scared us to death!” Jeanne said with a teary eyes. Did she cried? But her voice sound shaken up. They nodded.

“I’m sorry Violet. I can’t protect you up there.” Jin whispered. I just smiled and whispered, “It’s ok.”

“Violet, do you know why the floor cracked?” Molly asked with her worried face. Should I tell them about Rose husband Ottiy?

“I…”

“What is it, Violet? Did you saw anything suspicious?”

“Yes. A guy who wants me dead.”

Chapter 2

After finished eating, they followed me downstairs and introduce me Rose, a somehow, nanny and guard. She has a white and grey hair with black eyes. She’s sweeping the floor until she saw us came down.

“Hi there teenagers. Hi Violet, Jin.” She smiled warmly at us. I nodded and looked up. The first question that crossed my mind was how much does this mansion cost? There’s swimming pool outside, a basketball court, a car and motorbike garage and there’s 24 rooms with their own toilets. And this mansion’s dinning was beautiful. The lights were painted with gold lights and it shined perfectly all over the room with its diamond cover.

The dinning table have 24 seats and the kitchen was clean and big too. The kitchen’s main colour was silver. Everything looks so tidy and sparkle like they haven’t been used before. One more thing that is so cool is they have a library, a music room and a computer room. I can surf anytime I want.

This mansion was awesome and I’ll do anything to live in this mansion but I can’t believe that I am right now. I kinda appreciate my supernatural powers now. “What do you like, Violet?” Rose approached me and tapped beside mine left shoulder. I turned and looked at her, “Uh, books. I think.” She nodded and smiled.

“Do you like pets?”

“What?” I hang my eyebrow up.

“Well, we allowed those who live in this mansion have their own individual pet. They’ve got theirs and I was just wondering you know.” Molly and the others carried their pets out.

“Any limit?” I asked. I actually do like one..

“As big as you want and as small as you want.” She smiled again. I looked at Molly, she’ve got a grey cat. Jeanne got a snake and that totally freaks me out. Jack got a horse and John got a bird. So I guess, I’m the totally crazy one.

I want a wolf.

My face burned and I pressed my lips together when Rose asked again. I looked at Jin, I wonder what animal that he want to be his pet? “Violet, it’s fine. You can ask and have anything you want. You too Jin.” “Can I have a lion?” I widen my eyes and stared at Jin. Did he, actually wish for a lion? Seriously? So I’m not as crazy as Jin!

“Wow, Jin! You better take a good care of your lion! Don’t eat my Lara.” Jeanne chuckled and rubbed her cheek against her snake, Lara.

“Nice one Jin. Can I have a pat on your lion after you got yours?” Jack smiled.

“Got it.” Jin replied and smiled.

“How about you Violet honey?” I take a deep breath and finally said it out loud, “I-I would really want a wolf.” They looked at me and my face heated up. Is this weird?

“Violet, you’ve really got a special taste huh. But cool.” Molly smiled. They nodded. “I guess we’ve gotta get going honey dear.” Rose chuckled and grabbed Jin’s hand and mine. Before we went out, she warned them not to step out from this mansion and take good care of this house. I don’t know why but I’ve got this feeling that I want to come back again and never leave that mansion.

Rose drive us to a zoo and park on a empty parking slot just right beside the cashier. It’s a bit weird for us to buy a pet from the zoo isn’t it? Rose smiled and talked to the manager like they were old friends and they let us in without any payment.

We reached at a lion cage first and they asked Jin to go in and they leave him there. I panicked when they leave him there but Rose told me that that’s how it all works. I’m going to do it like that too. Is not we choose them, is they choose us.

Next, we reached the wolf cage. But something’s weird about the wolf. All of them were hiding in their own cage and do nothing. And there’s one special cage that is painted with red.

“Why is that cage painted red?” I asked one of the workers.

“That red cage? Ah, the wild one. Be careful around him. We don’t really see that wolf come out. He only come out once and then, he stayed in his cage for the rest of the time. He’s a dangerous one and special one.” The person opened the door for me and left me there alone with these pack of wolf. No one’s outside looking at me. Just, me.

I felt weird since I stepped in this wolf cage. They looked at me with those cold silver eyes and all of them crawled out from their cage like they’ve been waiting for me. I stepped back feeling afraid and leaned against the door, wishing someone to save me from this cage now.

They growled and walked towards me. When their movements increase and faster, I heard a growl. A real rough loud growl. All of the wolf stopped and steeped back. When the red cage opened, my heart stopped beating. All of them run back to their cage in one blink.

A wolf stepped out from the cage and stared at me with annoyed aura around him. I felt afraid until I saw something hurt. This wolf’s right eyes were blind. There’s a scar on it’s face. His fur were grey like silver and his eyes were totally different from the others. The worker’s right. He was special.

“Yours are red.” I control my fearsome and stared at his red eyes. This wolf’s eyes was as red as blood. It’s shinning under the sun and he’s tall. He stopped for a moment and walked towards me slowly. I stand there still and waited for him. He’s still walking and growling. I don’t know how but I can feel it that he’s trying to communicate with me. I kneeled down and stared at his red bloody eyes that is just right in front of me.

“They’re right. You’re special. I can feel it since you stepped out.” I smiled and closed my eyes. I can felt his breath and his smell with my eyes closed. He growled and touched my forehead with his nose. He smelled me and licked my face. I smiled and rubbed his head with my bare hands. He growled again. “Guess you’re not that dangerous and scary like they said huh. You’re kind.” I rest with my hands on his head.

“So, you choose me as your master?” He growled.

“What should I call you then?” He pushed up his head twice and growled.

“You want me to name you?” He growled again. I nodded and closed my eyes. He’s my pet, he’s a male and he is special. I opened my eyes and saw his red bloody eyes looking at me, waiting for me.

“How about, Ace?” We stayed silent, looking at each other. “It’s no good?” I think again. When I’m about to close my eyes, he licked my eyes. “Hey hey. I-It tickles!” I laughed then he growled. He like it, Ace.

“Well then, Ace, nice to meet you.” I kissed him on the forehead. He sit in front of me and waited for me to pat him like he’s really my pet. I crossed my arm and shaked my head, “You’re not my pet, you’re my partner, my friend.” Then I patted him. He licked my fingers and I laughed again.

“Let’s go and meet the others friend Ace.” He growled and both of us stepped out from the cage. We looked for Jin and Rose after having a partner, Ace. From now on, I’ll have a new life, a new home, a new friend, a new partner, a new future and a new love from a new people.

Chapter 1

     “Give everything you’ve got. Just never let her have the chance to contact them!” Ms.Elly shouted along the way with her army running towards me and Jin, my unknown partner. Jin grabbed my hand and pulled me with him into a small ally and hide beside a recycle box. I pant so much and feel like dying but Jin covered my mouth with his hand.

     “Stop panting.” Jin whispered beside my ear.

     “Like I can control my breath! You’re a different kind of human Jin, I’m not! I’m just a normal girl!” I pushed his hand away and he pulled me back again. “Yeah fine. Maybe I’m a person who just came back from the afterlife but it can’t help! It’s not like I want to. And you’re special. You’re a girl who can feel them and,” “And what? Help them? But I have no idea how the hell am I supposed to help them Jin!” I looked at him. Maybe we’re too loud and we heard footsteps. Jin pulled me closer to him.

     “Oh Violet dear, I heard you. Please come back to us. Your parents are worried you know.” Ms.Elly walked closer and stopped at the ally junction. My heart skips faster and I tried to hold my breath. Get away! I think and grabbed on Jin’s clothes. I can feel my eye’s burning and I know, my tears are wetting my crystal blue eyes.

     “Not now.” Jin whispered again. I opened my lips and pressed them together again. I shaked my head and talked with him through my mind. I can’t. If things goes on, I’ll go insane. My view is getting blur. I looked down and breath. “Violet, you’ve got a call from your parents. I’m going to put in on speaker ok?” I saw her holding a handset and moving her thumb. I wanted to go closer and get a closer look of her but Jin grabbed me. No. It’s too dangerous.

     “Violet? It’s Pa. And Ma’s here. Why don’t you come home with us? We miss you.” Pa’s voice came out from the handset.

“Yes Violet dear. It’s dangerous outside so why don’t you come back to our house and stay with us? Forever? Itsn’t this what you want when you’re young?” Ma’s voice shaked me up. She’s right. I’ve been wanting Ma and Pa’s attention since I’m 5. I’ve tried everything my best to get their attention including getting flying colours result and stealing. But every time I have all this problem, it’s not my parents who take responsibility and warn me.

It’s Ms.Elly, my helper.

“What do you think, Violet? Come on, let’s go home and I’ll forgive you about knowing the things that I’ve been planning. We’ll forget about these and live like the old days huh?” Ms.Elly’s still standing there, not moving a single step.

“Uh, Elly. Didn’t you forgot that is a guy who took Violet away? He’s been helping Violet to escape. Why don’t we just find him and ask him directly where is Violet.” A helper of Ms.Elly stepped in front of her and said. Her expression went cold and she stopped talking for a minute.

“That’s right. The boy. He’s Jin Hustan right? Find him and asked him. If he doesn’t want to cooperate with us, kill him.” I shivered. This is the real Ms.Elly. I can’t fall for her trap. My mind went blank when she ordered her helper to kill Jin. Even though my vision went blur but it doesn’t mean that my hearing went deaf.

“Violet? You ok?” Jin whispered. He’s still looking for them and we’re still staying over there for awhile. I nodded and it’s a lie. How can I be ok when my previous helper has been up to something and tried to kill Jin? I shaked my head.

“Are you ok or not?” He’s confused by my reaction. I stayed there leaning against Jin’s chest. He’ve got no heartbeat. He’s dead but he’s sitting right next to me, protecting me. Who save him, we have no idea but who kill him, Ms.Elly. What she’ve been up to until now is she’ve been experimenting supernatural teenagers like Jin. Before he’s dead, he’s a wizard. A full blooded wizard. And after I know what she’ve been up to is tonight.

She tried to take me home and erase my memory about her experiment. She managed to capture me but that’s when Jin came and save me. He told me everything about him and her experiment while we’re on the run. But I tried to contact the SPC, Supernatural Protect Center and she almost involved the other supernatural teenagers.

There’s nothing we can do other than running to SPC. After Ms.Elly lost our track, she went back pissed. We run along the street at 1.53a.m in the morning and walk for an hour until Jin grabbed me. “You don’t look good Violet. We need to get you some sleep.” Jin carried me and walked me to the nearest bus stop and sit.

“There’s no time for me to sleep. We’ve got to go. It’s just a few more miles…” I stood up and Jin grabbed me. “Ok. Fine. But in one condition, I’m going to carry you all the way there so rest.” He kneeled down in front of me and bend his back. “Are you kidding me? No. We’re walking.” I walked beside him and leave him behind. But I found him not moving but standing.

“I said so. If you want to go there faster, I’ll carry you there. Or else you’re going to rest here.” He crossed his arm against his chest. He is serious. I glared at him. I rolled my eyes and walked towards him. “Fine.” He bend down again and I lie my body at him like his my pillow. I can feel his body temperature even though he’s dead. He’s dead cold and a bit warm.

I just relax myself on his back and I slept after that. The next thing I know is when I wake up, I’m in a room filled with books, electronic things and people. I pressed myself up and stayed back at a corner thinking, where’s Jin? They saw me and smiled. There’s a girl with a blond straight hair with a pair of green eyes and the other girl have a brown curly short hair. There’s also two boys with same dark brown hair and black eyes.

“Violet right? Hi there. I’m Molly Roche.” A girl with the blond straight hair lift her hand and smiled. “I’m Jeanne Kent.” The brown curly hair said. “I’m John.” “I’m Jack.” They both smiled and I noticed something. He got a scar on his left cheek.” Molly sit on the edge of the bed and laughed.

“I’m the cause of his scar. Haha.. I brought a dog in this mansion last time and it bit Jack.” Jeanne chuckled. I just stared at them until Jin came in with food on his hand and a bread in his mouth. Fish and chips. “Oh, hi there buddy.” The twins put their hands up. Jin smiled and passed me the fish and chips. I thanked him and prayed to God for the food.

“So, is Rose fine with both of you staying?” Jeanne asked. Jin just nod and continued staring at me. I looked at them and they knew what I’m about to ask. “You’re at SPC mansion. This mansion is just for four of us and both of you from now on. Rose is the person who is in charge of taking care of us including protecting us. This is your room, Jeanne’s and mine. You don’t mind right?” She widen her eyes. I shaked my head and smiled. “I’m sorry for troubling you.” I said. Molly just smiled and Jeanne run towards me. “No no! Not at all. From now on, we’ll have one more partner to talk about. We can talk about our problems, love, skipping school classes together and more! It’s that fun?”

“No skipping school.” Jin butted in. Jeanne just rolled her eyes, “Whatever. But it’s still good to have you here. Now we’ve got another partner.” Jeanne hug me. I didn’t feel any warm from my parents until now but this is the first time I felt warm from a friend other than Jin. I just smiled and whispered, “Thank you.”
